During a podcast conversation, Kumar Sanu revisited the daunting experience of taking the stage for a private event held by a mafia figure in Dubai. He pointed out that the atmosphere back then was extremely tense and unsafe, especially given that high-profile tragedies like the broad-daylight assassination of T-Series head Gulshan Kumar had sent shockwaves through the entire entertainment sector. Under such grim circumstances, declining a demand from an underworld figure was simply out of the question, leaving the singer with no choice but to comply with the unsettling request.
