According to Western Railway officials, the affected train will conclude its journey at Bhilad itself and will not proceed further towards Bharuch, meaning the service remains partially cancelled between Bhilad and Bharuch.

Officials from the Mumbai Central division of Western Railway confirmed that no injuries, casualties, or harm to any passengers, railway staff, or members of the public were reported in connection with the incident. According to details shared by the authorities, the entire accident took place at exactly 06.27 AM on Tuesday morning. Immediately following the derailment, Western Railway initiated concerted operations to restore the derailed coach back onto the tracks and clear the route safely.

- Train number 59045, the Mumbai Central-Vapi Express scheduled for July 28, will depart at 10:55 AM instead of 09.55 AM.
- Train number 09001, the Mumbai Central-Barmer Special train scheduled for July 28, will depart at 11:30 AM instead of 10.30 AM.
