An interactive promotional campaign was conducted in Nongstoin to spread awareness among budding innovators and early-stage entrepreneurs regarding the Chief Minister’s E-Championship Challenge 7.0. The event, organized under the state government's PRIME Meghalaya initiative, aims to cultivate a robust entrepreneurial culture and provide essential resources to promising business ideas across the region.
Financial Support and Grant Allocations
To provide direct financial assistance to promising ventures, the Chief Minister’s E-Championship Challenge 7.0 has structured a comprehensive grant distribution framework. Under this program, the top 60 selected startups will receive a financial grant of ₹3 lakh each. Additionally, the next 50 shortlisted startups will be awarded ₹1.5 lakh each to help scale their operations and refine their business models.
Mentorship and Market Exposure Opportunities
Beyond capital grants, participants chosen through the program will gain access to critical business development support. The initiative promises personalized, one-on-one mentorship from seasoned industry professionals. Furthermore, participating startups will benefit from enhanced media visibility, market linkages, and direct networking avenues with potential investors and funding institutions.
Application Deadline and Regional Outreach
The road show specifically targeted ambitious youth and aspiring entrepreneurs from the West Khasi Hills district, urging them to register their innovative projects before the cutoff date. Eligible individuals and teams are required to complete their submissions by September 15, 2026, to be considered for funding and acceleration support under the PRIME Meghalaya framework.
