The North Delhi Strikers finished their Delhi Premier League 2026 campaign on a high note by defeating Outer Delhi by 39 runs in their final league fixture. Led by Sarthak Ranjan, the team failed to qualify for the playoffs after managing only four wins out of their ten league matches, alongside one match that was washed out due to rain. Even though North Delhi fell short of the knockout stages, captain Sarthak Ranjan enjoyed an impressive individual season.
North Delhi Posts Competitive Total Batting First
Asked to bat first in their final league outing, North Delhi put up a total of 166 for 7 in their full quota of 20 overs. Yash Batra played a standout knock for the side, scoring 58 runs off just 38 deliveries. Captain Sarthak Ranjan chipped in with a quickfire 20 runs from 10 balls, hitting three fours and a six. Contributions also came from Kaushal Suman, who added 33 runs, and Yash Dabas, who contributed 28 runs to help set a challenging target.
Parikshit Sehrawat Leads Bowling Attack as Outer Delhi Falls Short
Chasing a target of 167, Outer Delhi managed to reach only 122 for 7 in their 20 overs. Harsh Tyagi fought hard for Outer Delhi, scoring an unbeaten 54, but lacked support from the other batsmen, leading to the defeat. For North Delhi, Parikshit Sehrawat was the pick of the bowlers with three crucial scalps, while Praneet Tiwari also picked up a wicket.

During the first innings, Outer Delhi's bowling attack was spearheaded by Harsh Tyagi, who claimed three wickets. Captain Siddhant Sharma, Navdeep Saini, Anant Sareen, and Samar Kohar picked up one wicket each. Shivam Sharma was the only bowler from Outer Delhi who failed to register a wicket. With this match, both teams concluded their league engagements for the season.
