However, after responding well to treatment and rehabilitation, the Bangladesh Cricket Board confirmed on Saturday that the veteran player has successfully recovered and will be considered for the opening Test match.
The inclusion of Litton provides a timely boost for Bangladesh, who are already missing key fast bowlers Nahid Rana and Shoriful Islam due to injury.
