A high-value burglary hit a prominent timepiece showroom on Tonk Road in Jaipur, resulting in the theft of luxury wristwatches valued at several crore rupees. The incident took place at The Watch Factory showroom, an outlet that retails watches from the luxury brand Rado. Initial assessments suggested a loss exceeding 4 to 5 crore rupees, but further stock checks revealed that roughly 250 watches were stolen, taking the estimated valuation to between 5 and 7 crore rupees. The scale of the burglary triggered immediate concern among showroom managers and local police authorities.
Top Police Officials Inspect the Crime Scene
Following information about the burglary, personnel from the Bajaj Nagar police station arrived at the location to initiate formal proceedings. Given the magnitude of the property stolen, senior officers including Special Commissioner of Police Omprakash and Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Paras Jain inspected the premises directly. The officers examined both the interior layout of the showroom and the surrounding perimeter, gathering preliminary facts regarding how the perpetrators accessed the building.
Break-in Executed During Early Morning Hours
According to preliminary investigative findings, the crime took place in the early morning between 4:00 AM and 5:00 AM. Investigators are primarily focusing on identifying the exact entry point utilized by the culprits and determining the specific sequence of actions taken inside the store. A total count showed about 250 watches missing from the display and inventory areas. Given the sheer quantity of items taken within a limited window, authorities suspect multiple individuals executed the coordinated heist.
Forensic Examination and Extensive Video Surveillance Review
Police teams have widened their surveillance sweep to examine footage from security cameras installed inside the showroom, on adjacent properties, and along Tonk Road. Investigators are analyzing the video material to pinpoint suspicious movements, identify potential suspects, and trace the arrival and escape routes. A forensic science laboratory team visited the spot to lift fingerprints, photograph critical physical evidence, and preserve material traces left by the intruders.
Sniffer Dogs Deployed as Management Audits Stock
To assist the search for leads, a dog squad was brought to the location to track the direction taken by the suspects immediately following the break-in. Meanwhile, showroom management has undertaken a comprehensive audit of its existing inventory records to verify the exact specifications and numbers of the missing timepieces. Investigating officers noted that the inquiry is progressing by combining video recordings, inventory documentation, and physical evidence collected from the scene.
