To maintain law and order and counter potential threats, more than 25,000 personnel from the Delhi Police and paramilitary forces have been deployed at key strategic positions across the city. To bolster monitoring around the main venue, over 1,000 CCTV cameras have been installed inside and around the Red Fort complex. These cameras are linked to an Artificial Intelligence (AI) video analytics system that feeds real-time footage directly into a dedicated central control room. This sophisticated surveillance setup enables security monitoring teams to detect suspicious movements, irregular crowd gatherings, or potential security breaches instantly, ensuring that tactical response units can react immediately to any operational developments.
Multi-Layered Screening and Anti-Terror Preparedness
Security agencies have activated multi-tiered screening and verification points across entry routes leading toward the Red Fort and city borders. A specialized anti-terror response system has been placed on active standby to neutralize emergency contingencies. Rapid response teams are positioned at critical locations, ready to handle any security scenario without delay.
Inter-Agency Coordination and Tactical Drills
According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (North) Raja Banthia, the comprehensive security framework was structured taking into account security incidents from the previous year. Security agencies have established seamless communication and information-sharing protocols.
