A Quiet Ceremony Instead of a Grand Wedding
Bollywood star Aamir Khan is back in the spotlight over his personal life as he prepares to formalize his relationship with Gauri Spratt. Speculation has been rife across social media platforms regarding the nature of their upcoming nuptials, with fans wondering whether the couple would opt for a traditional Nikah or a church wedding, given their diverse cultural backgrounds. However, the superstar has put all rumors to rest by sharing direct updates about the ceremony.
In a recent conversation with TrendKia, Aamir Khan revealed that the couple plans to keep the event incredibly low-key. Instead of hosting a lavish, star-studded affair, he and Gauri have decided to opt for a registered marriage.
Following Family Traditions
This simple approach mirrors the wedding of Aamir's daughter, Ira Khan, who married Nupur Shikhare in a similar fashion. Ira and Nupur had also chosen a registered marriage initially, which was later followed by a traditional Christian ceremony that captured widespread attention online.
Explaining who will attend the upcoming celebration, Aamir stated that they are keeping the guest list extremely tight. Only immediate family members and a select group of close friends will be present to witness the union, as they both prefer to keep the occasion highly intimate.
Marriage Date and Age Difference Details
According to reports, the wedding is scheduled to take place on July 5. Gauri Spratt, who is 14 years younger than the Bollywood actor, is already a mother to one child. This will mark the third marriage for Aamir Khan, who has been married twice before.
Aamir first tied the knot with Reena Dutta in 1986. Following their divorce, he married Kiran Rao in 2005. Both marriages lasted for more than a decade before ending in divorce. From his first marriage, Aamir has two children, Ira Khan and Junaid Khan, while his second marriage with Kiran Rao blessed him with a son named Azad Rao Khan.
