Stepping into the revered role of Sita in the film Mahakavya Shri Ramayana Katha, actress Anjali Arora has reflected on religious harmony, personal faith, and creative collaboration. She emphasized that authentic devotion and basic humanity transcend rigid sectarian identities, while also addressing attitudes that tend to look down upon people who openly express pride in Sanatan traditions.
True Faith Reflects in Conduct Towards Others
Addressing the culture of trolling that frequently targets individuals for asserting their religious identity, Arora explained that genuine faith cannot be measured solely by outward rituals. Instead, spiritual depth must be evident in daily interactions, kindness, and reciprocal respect among people.
According to Arora, individuals who strictly obsess over rigid boundaries often miss the true spirit of empathy. She noted that anyone who genuinely believes in God naturally extends respect to all faiths. Sharing her own outlook, she mentioned that being a Hindu, she interacts with anyone from the Muslim community simply as an equal fellow human being without bias.
Cross-Faith Collaboration Behind the Devotional Music
Recalling the production environment of the mythological project, Arora shared that crew members across different backgrounds worked in complete unison. Spot crew members, lighting technicians, and even members of the music direction team included Muslims who carried out their duties with thorough dedication.
Several Muslim artists and technicians actively contributed to composing, arranging, and singing hymns celebrating Lord Ram. Arora pointed out that an individual's personal religion does not limit their ability to contribute meaningfully to a creative or spiritual endeavor. What matters fundamentally, she noted, is the internal discipline, dedication, and balance emphasized in traditional scriptures.
