The creative team behind the cinematic project Hanuman Ansh received distinguished recognition in the capital during an evening dedicated to culturally rooted cinema. Held on 27 September 2026 at the historic Gandhi Smriti Bhavan in New Delhi, the special gathering brought together prominent figures from public life and the arts to celebrate storytelling focused on spiritual heritage.
A Collaborative Effort to Foster Cultural Cinema
The felicitation ceremony was jointly organised by the Shirdi Sai Baba Foundation and the Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti. The core vision behind the initiative was to encourage films that bring spiritual contemplation, faith, and traditional Indian culture closer to contemporary viewers. Aushim Kheratpal, founder of the Shirdi Sai Baba Foundation and producer of the film Shirdi Sai Baba, spearheaded the event alongside community leaders.
Prominent Dignitaries Grace the Occasion
Several notable dignitaries attended the gathering to show their support for culturally meaningful entertainment. Vijay Goel, Vice Chairman of the Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti, joined Bhausaheb Rajaram Wakchaure, Member of Parliament representing the Shirdi Lok Sabha constituency. They were accompanied by Aushim Kheratpal and Sanjana Jon, International Strategist for the Sai Baba Peace Awards, on the main dais.
Creative Ensemble Conferred with Citation of Honour
During the primary segment of the event, Aushim Kheratpal formally presented the Citation of Honour to the entire team of Hanuman Ansh. Director Vishal Chaturvedi, lead actor Shobhinav Satya, and producers Namrata and Ragini Sona accepted the accolades on stage. Child actor Vihaan Shegde, who portrayed a 14-year-old Baba in the production, was also present and received heartfelt appreciation for his on-screen portrayal.
