Veteran Telugu cinema actor and film producer GV Narayana Rao passed away in Hyderabad on Wednesday night, August 26, following a sudden heart attack. He was 73 years old. Actress Karate Kalyani confirmed the news of his demise, which led to widespread mourning across the film industry. Renowned actor Chiranjeevi was among numerous prominent personalities who expressed grief over the loss. The final rites for GV Narayana Rao will take place on August 28 at the Vaikunta Mahaprasthanam crematorium in Hyderabad.

GV Narayana Rao began his acting journey in the Telugu film industry in 1976 with director K Balachander's movie 'Anthuleni Katha'.
