The business figures for superstar Yash's starrer Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups have been sliding with each passing day. However, a silver lining is that despite the initial drop, the film has managed to stay in the double-digit business bracket for four consecutive days. On the other hand, the momentum of Awara Paagal Deewana 2 starring Emraan Hashmi has slowed down, yet the movie continues to hold its ground at the box office.
Saturday Collection Sees a Drop for Toxic
Observing Saturday's figures, the box office collection of Toxic registered a decline once again. According to industry trackers, the film hauled a net collection of 24.50 crore on its fourth day through a total of 17, 612 shows across the nation. With these latest numbers added, the film's total net collection in India has now reached 190.45 crore. Furthermore, the domestic gross collection stands at 227.50 crore. When compared to the previous day Friday when the film minted 27.20 crore, the collections on the fourth day saw a drop of roughly 9.9 percent.
Overseas Markets and Language-Wise Breakdown
Apart from the domestic market, looking at the global scale, the film grossed 4 crore from overseas territories on Saturday, pushing its international gross collection to 27.25 crore. Combining all these numbers, the worldwide total earnings of Toxic have now touched 254.75 crore. In terms of language-wise performance, the Hindi version remained the strongest on day four, bringing in a business of 15.50 crore. The Kannada version secured the second spot with 6.60 crore, followed by Telugu at 1.50 crore, Tamil at 75 lakh, and the Malayalam version contributing 15 lakh.

When it comes to viewer occupancy inside theaters, the Kannada belt clearly dominated the numbers. An overall occupancy of 47.23 percent was registered in this region, which further surged to 62.15 percent during the night shows. Prior to this, the movie had business figures of 1.20 crore on its third Friday or fifteenth day, running across 1,141 shows with the exact same 32 percent occupancy. Within these 16 days, the worldwide collection of the film has scaled up to 207.35 crore.
