The competitive box office clash across theaters has produced divergent fortunes for two major theatrical releases. The Hindi mystery thriller The Vvaan, centered around deep forest secrets, continues to draw consistent footfalls, while Telugu star Nani's multilingual spectacle The Paradise is beginning to witness a noticeable deceleration in its ticket sales. A pivotal Chhath devotional track in The Vvaan has created an emotional resonance with moviegoers, directly translating into robust box office retention. Even after eight days in cinemas, the Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia starrer has maintained solid theatrical stability, despite fresh competition arriving in the form of Ajay Devgn and Tabu's franchise entry Drishyam 3.
Domestic Footprint and Earnings for The Vvaan
Benefiting from holiday footfalls on its second Friday, The Vvaan recorded a steady net collection of 3.40 crore rupees across 2,144 screenings nationwide on day eight. This steady push lifted the film's total gross earnings in India to 67.74 crore rupees, while its domestic net collection successfully crossed the 57.00 crore rupees threshold. The sustained numbers indicate that the film's thematic backdrop and dramatic pacing have resonated well with northern theatrical circuits.
In the overseas market, the production added 50 lakh rupees to its tally on its eighth day, bringing its total international business to 6 crore rupees. When tallying both Indian domestic gross figures and overseas ticket sales, the worldwide gross revenue for the film has moved past 73.74 crore rupees. The ability of the project to hold its ground against the opening wave of a marquee title like Drishyam 3 demonstrates steady word-of-mouth momentum among general moviegoers.
The Paradise Faces Deceleration Outside Home Turf
In contrast, Telugu star Nani's big-budget feature The Paradise, which arrived in eight languages, is seeing its theatrical run narrow down heavily to regional circuits after early success. Although the title crossed the 100 crore mark earlier in its run, its ongoing earnings are predominantly anchored in Telugu-speaking territories. Right from its opening day, the dubbed Hindi version failed to gain meaningful traction, remaining largely muted in ticket counters across northern belts.
On its ninth day, the film collected a domestic net total of 2.80 crore rupees from 1,547 screenings across India. That pushed the overall domestic net haul to 111 crore rupees, while the all-India gross figure rose to 131.05 crore rupees. A closer examination of the day nine total highlights the stark regional disparity: the Telugu version generated 2.70 crore rupees of that sum, whereas the Hindi release managed a modest 10 lakh rupees across the country.
Worldwide Totals Stand at 162 Crore Rupees
International earnings for the film have similarly moderated, generating 10 lakh rupees on day nine from overseas auditoriums. Nevertheless, propelled by its explosive first week, the cumulative overseas gross for The Paradise stands at 30.95 crore rupees. Bringing together all domestic and international revenue streams, the worldwide gross for Nani's film has reached 162 crore rupees. With fresh commercial releases reshaping theatrical programming and screen allotments, both titles now face the critical challenge of preserving show counts over their remaining runs.
