Toxic Review (2025): Yash Starrer Crosses 200 Crore Mark on Day 5

South cinema superstar Yash's film Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups has crossed the 200 crore net collection mark in India within five days of its release, despite seeing a continuous decline in daily earnings after a massive opening.

South cinema superstar Yash's much-awaited film Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups has arrived on the big screen. The movie was released in theaters on August 26, opening to mixed and negative reviews from both critics and audiences alike. Despite the initial backlash, the movie made a stellar start on its opening day by grossing over 101 crores at the box office in India. Now, Yash's latest venture has successfully crossed the milestone of 200 crore net collection within the country.

Slowing Pace Yet Sustained Double Digit Earnings

Following such a blockbuster opening, expectations were high that the film would set numerous new box office records. However, a major drop in its collection was observed right on the second day, a downward trend that continues to persist. Even over the weekend, earnings failed to bounce back and instead saw a steady decline. On the positive side, the movie continues to register double-digit business every single day despite the falling numbers.
