Political activity in Haryana is set to intensify as Union Home Minister Amit Shah prepares to visit the state next month. On November 5, he will travel to Karnal district to take part in a major foot march organized as part of the Bharatiya Janata Party's 'Save Democracy, Eradicate Anarchy' campaign. Alongside flagging off the march, he will actively participate in it to boost the morale of local party workers. The schedule was confirmed by Haryana BJP President Archana Gupta.
State chief inspects preparations in Karnal
To ensure flawless execution of the high-profile event, Haryana BJP chief Archana Gupta arrived in Karnal on Sunday evening to review the ongoing arrangements. She held multiple meetings with the district core group and party functionaries at the local party office. Following these discussions, she visited the primary event venue in Sector 12 to closely examine the logistical arrangements. According to an official statement released by the party, she also interacted with workers from the Karnal assembly constituency to assess their level of preparedness.
Addressing the party members, Archana Gupta urged them to shoulder their assigned responsibilities with absolute dedication and systematic planning. She emphasized that strong coordination across all levels is essential for workers to unite and make this campaign a resounding success.
Understanding the core objective of the campaign
The BJP state chief clarified that the party is aggressively pushing the 'Save Democracy, Eradicate Anarchy' campaign to counter the alleged misleading propaganda spread by opposition parties. It is within the framework of this ongoing initiative that the Union Home Minister will headline the special foot march event in the Karnal Lok Sabha constituency.
The grand event will witness the participation of several prominent leaders alongside the Union Home Minister, including Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, among other senior figures. Security protocols and overall arrangements for this high-profile gathering are currently being finalized by the local administration and the party organization alike.
