A young farmer from Saulda village was found brutally murdered inside a government school premises in Balaur village, located in the Bahadurgarh area of Jhajjar district, Haryana. The body of the victim, identified as Neeraj, bore multiple deep wounds inflicted by a sharp-edged weapon. The gruesome discovery was made on Wednesday morning, triggering panic in the locality due to the school's close proximity to the Bahadurgarh court and the mini-secretariat.

Neeraj, who earned his livelihood through farming in his native village, had left his residence on Tuesday evening. When he did not return through the night, his family grew anxious. On Wednesday morning, local police discovered his lifeless body inside a small room constructed for a water booth (piau) near the main entrance gate of the Balaur government school. The police promptly contacted Neeraj's family members to inform them of the tragedy, after which they rushed to the spot to identify the body.

Initial investigations and statements from the family suggest a history of personal animosity. Neeraj's brother, Haqeeqat, who is employed at a court in Delhi, has raised serious suspicions against a fellow villager named Gaurav and his accomplices. According to the family, Neeraj and Gaurav had been involved in a physical altercation recently, during which Gaurav reportedly sustained an injury to his leg. Following that clash, Gaurav's father had allegedly visited Neeraj's home to apprise his family of the dispute, indicating that tensions were running high between the two sides.

Forensic Team Gathers Evidence

Upon receiving information about the body, a police team along with forensic experts rushed to the crime scene. The Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team thoroughly scanned the area and collected physical evidence from the room where the body was found. The body was subsequently taken into custody and sent for a post-mortem examination to ascertain the exact cause of death. Sadar Thana SHO Manoj Kumar stated that law enforcement officials are actively examining the case from all possible angles. He assured that the perpetrators would be apprehended soon as the investigation progresses.
