The Further Mis-Adventures Of Cliff Booth review reveals that the newest trailer for the film offers a much closer look at what lies ahead. The title itself suggests that Brad Pitt's character from Once Upon A Time In Hollywood is back to his old ways. While the exact plot of this quasi-sequel remained shrouded in mystery for quite some time, the latest preview gives a clearer picture. Written by Quentin Tarantino with David Fincher in the director's chair, and with Pitt reprising his Oscar-winning role, the upcoming project explores the 1977 Los Angeles ecosystem set eight years after the events surrounding the Sharon Tate attack.
Inside Cliff Booth's World and Shady Deals
The spotlight rests squarely on Pitt's Booth, who is currently working as a projectionist. Even though he no longer works as a stunt double for Rick Dalton, he still moves within certain Hollywood circles and continues to dine out on those infamous Bruce Lee fight rumours. The trailer also showcases more of the supporting cast. Elizabeth Debicki plays Karen Crosby, a manager for actor Charlie Peters, played by Scott Caan. Crosby wants to get Cliff involved in a new project, but Peters seems far more interested in what Booth can accomplish away from the camera than on-screen. Addressing Booth directly, Peters notes that he actually kills people. True to Tarantino's signature style, the narrative is packed with hitmen, bags full of cash, and numerous shady underworld dealings wrapped in retro aesthetics.
