Acer has officially expanded its hardware presence in India with the debut of two brand new tablets, the Iconia Tab 11 5G and the Iconia Tab 12 5G. Designed to handle the diverse needs of modern remote students, digital office workers, and everyday multimedia streamers, both devices arrive with responsive 90Hz displays, capable octa-core MediaTek processors, and 8GB RAM configurations. In addition to high-speed 5G mobile data connectivity, both versions offer expandable local storage so users can manage heavier document workflows without space restrictions.
Screen real estate is the major differentiator across the two releases. The Iconia Tab 11 5G packs a 10.95-inch panel, while users desiring a roomier layout for multitasking can step up to the 12.2-inch Iconia Tab 12 5G. Convenient and secure device unlocking is handled via integrated fingerprint recognition sensors on both variants.

Both products enter the Indian computing arena positioned beneath the competitive ₹30,000 threshold. The Iconia Tab 11 5G carries a starting price tag of ₹23,990. Potential buyers can purchase this 10.95-inch unit directly through Flipkart as well as Acer's official online platform.
For those looking at the larger Iconia Tab 12 5G, the starting price is pegged at ₹26,990. Distribution for this model extends wider across retail channels. It will be available for purchase through Flipkart, Amazon, Acer Exclusive physical retail outlets, and the Acer Online Store.
Hardware and Features of the Iconia Tab 11 5G
The Iconia Tab 11 5G incorporates a 10.95-inch Full HD IPS panel boasting a native resolution of 1,920 × 1,200 pixels. The screen achieves a peak brightness rating of up to 450 nits and incorporates a 90Hz refresh rate, delivering clear legibility for reading alongside smooth UI navigation.
Under the chassis, the tablet is driven by the MediaTek MT8755 octa-core processor. The chipset configuration features two high-performance Arm Cortex-A76 cores operating at 2.4GHz along with six power-efficient Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2GHz. The tablet pairs 8GB of RAM with either 128GB or 256GB of onboard storage. The photographic setup includes a 13MP rear sensor for document captures and an 8MP front-facing sensor for video communication. Physically, the slate measures 261.74 × 177.68 × 7.95mm.
Technical Specifications of the Iconia Tab 12 5G
The larger Iconia Tab 12 5G centers around a generous 12.2-inch IPS display delivering a crisp 2,400 × 1,600 pixel resolution. It delivers up to 400 nits of brightness while sustaining the same fluid 90Hz refresh rate found on its smaller sibling, making split-screen reading and media sessions noticeably sharper.
Performance remains anchored by the identical MediaTek MT8755 chipset, assisted by 8GB of RAM and choices of 128GB or 256GB of integrated capacity. For imaging tasks, the device houses a dual rear configuration consisting of a 16MP primary camera accompanied by a 2MP macro sensor. Front-facing video duties are managed by an 8MP camera. Endurance is bolstered substantially through the integration of a 10,000mAh battery cell.
Connectivity and Workstation Capabilities
Both devices cover standard modern connectivity protocols with built-in 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, and a universal USB Type-C interface. Expanding storage remains straightforward thanks to memory expansion card support, while biometric safety is standard across the board through fingerprint recognition.
Productivity is a central emphasis for the new series, with both machines supporting stylus input and keyboard flip covers. The physical docking mechanism provided by the keyboard accessory transforms the tablets into compact laptops. This functionality makes it effortless for users to transition between casual browsing, online learning sessions, virtual boardroom conferences, and routine productivity workloads.
