Marking a full decade of its popular F series in the Indian market, smartphone maker Oppo has officially unveiled two new devices: the Oppo F35 5G and the Oppo F35 Pro 5G. The brand has designed this new lineup specifically for buyers who seek a combination of group selfie capabilities, extended battery runtime, and sturdy environmental resistance. Both devices carry an enormous 8000mAh power cell beneath the back panel, complemented by 80W SuperVOOC rapid charging technology to significantly shorten top-up intervals.
Front Camera Setup and Imaging Features
On the photography front, both models sport an advanced 50-megapixel ultra-wide front-facing shooter. Engineered with a wide 100-degree field of view, this front lens allows group selfies to fit multiple subjects comfortably inside the framing without stretching or awkward crops. The cameras also integrate NaturalTone 2.0 technology, a software tuning feature intended to preserve realistic human skin textures and natural skin tones across varying lighting situations.
Turning to the rear side, the hardware differs slightly between the two models. The F35 Pro 5G carries a 50-megapixel primary camera backed by optical image stabilization alongside an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens. Furthermore, the Pro variant supports 4K video recording through both its front and rear cameras, appealing directly to mobile vloggers and video creators. In contrast, the standard F35 5G gets a 50-megapixel primary sensor coupled with a secondary 2-megapixel depth sensor.
Display Specifications and Processor Capabilities
Screen performance differs clearly between the two offerings. The Oppo F35 Pro 5G boasts a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED panel delivering a high 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness rating reaching 3600 nits for seamless outdoor visibility under bright daylight. Performance on the Pro model is driven by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Max processor. To sustain peak power during prolonged tasks, it also incorporates an enhanced cooling mechanism alongside dual stereo speakers.
Meanwhile, the standard Oppo F35 5G comes fitted with a 6.57-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen capable of 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1400 nits of brightness. Daily tasks on the standard edition are powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Max chipset. Both smartphones run the brand's proprietary ColorOS platform directly out of the retail packaging.
Durability Standards, Pricing, and Availability
Durability remains a core highlight for the lineup. The devices carry four distinct ingress resistance certifications including IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings. This extensive ingress protection ensures safety against high-pressure water jets, accidental drops in water, and airborne dust particles during everyday outdoor usage.
In terms of pricing tiers, the standard Oppo F35 5G starts at ₹38,999 for the 6GB RAM plus 128GB internal storage configuration, while upgrading to 8GB RAM plus 128GB storage costs ₹42,999. It will retail in Wave Blue, Titanium Grey, and Mist Pink color options. The higher-tier Oppo F35 Pro 5G is priced at ₹45,999 for 6GB plus 128GB, ₹49,999 for 8GB plus 128GB, and ₹54,999 for the range-topping 8GB plus 256GB model. Color schemes for the Pro variant include Sunrise Orange, Twilight Brown, and Wave Blue. Both phones are scheduled to go on sale starting October 11 across Amazon, Flipkart, the Oppo India online store, and authorized retail outlets nationwide.
