Speaking at the traditional Vijayadashami celebrations held at Reshimbagh grounds in Nagpur, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Chief Mohan Bhagwat warned that certain demonic forces are working in a planned manner to dismantle India, Hindu society, and the Sangh. He noted that these elements receive backing from individuals of a similar mindset within society. According to him, ambitious leaders also get entangled in these plots due to petty political selfishness and a lack of proper judgment.
The Western Cultural Storm
Detailing the broader global context, Bhagwat pointed out that a destructive wave originating from the West has swept across the globe with the explicit resolve to wipe out human values, auspiciousness, cultural traditions, and civilizational ethos. He observed that even the so-called progressive nations of the world are deeply distressed and helpless against this cultural onslaught. Addressing the concept of regime change, he asserted clearly that simply swapping out political power is never a genuine solution to deep societal problems.
The Historic Role of the Sangh
The RSS Sarsanghchalak emphasized on October 20 that the organization has played a historic role in keeping Sanatan and Hindu dharma alive and unyielding through centuries of struggle. Reflecting on historical contexts, he highlighted that during the era of Islamic invasions of India and various adverse circumstances, the continuous cultural and organizational efforts of the Sangh played a major part in preventing Hindu society from fragmenting.
A Shield for Hindu Culture
Addressing the gathering in Nagpur, Mohan Bhagwat stated that the Sangh is not merely an organization, but has emerged as a robust protective shield safeguarding Hindu culture, identity, and faith even during the most adverse times. The institution continues its relentless pursuit of cultural preservation and societal unity.
