Indian equity benchmarks commenced Tuesday morning on a cautiously positive footing, drawing strength from encouraging cues across global markets. Following successive sessions of weakness, market participants engaged in selective bargain hunting across frontline shares, allowing the headline indices to sustain trades in positive territory. The Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark Sensex advanced by more than 53 points in early exchanges, while the National Stock Exchange Nifty comfortably held above the 22,570 threshold. The early momentum across Dalal Street was largely anchored by sustained buying interest across banking counters, consumer durables, and energy heavyweights.
Early Market Breadth and Headline Performance

Meanwhile, trading prices for 180 listed counters remained entirely unchanged from their previous close.
