Allotted Investors Secure Significant First-Day Returns
The stellar opening delivered substantial monetary returns for market participants who secured allotments in the public offer. The company had set an IPO market lot size of 37 shares, which required bidders to commit a minimum capital outlay of Rs 14,948 at the cut-off price of Rs 404 per share. Based on the NSE listing price of Rs 482.45, the gross value of a single lot climbed to approximately Rs 17,850.65. This price expansion translated into a clear profit of roughly Rs 2,902.65 per lot for successful applicants right at the opening bell. Calculated at the NSE opening benchmark, the total market capitalization of the enterprise touched approximately Rs 5,071 crore.
Heavy Subscription Driven by 72.88 Times Bidding
The positive listing comes on the back of aggressive demand recorded during the three-day public bidding period. Investors submitted bids for approximately 158.68 crore equity shares against the net offer size of 2.18 crore shares, resulting in an overall subscription rate of about 72.88 times. This widespread appetite allowed the company to comfortably discover its pricing at the upper end of the designated valuation bracket. The price band for the initial offering had been fixed between Rs 384 and Rs 404 per share, with final allotment occurring at the ceiling price of Rs 404.
