Following a blockbuster week that pushed Indian equity benchmarks to their strongest weekly gains in more than a year, market attention now pivots to the next wave of corporate earnings. Both the Sensex and Nifty delivered remarkable performances in the preceding trading sessions, building momentum as the second half of the Q2 FY27 earnings season gets underway. Between November 9 and November 14, key market participants across automotive, power, defense, mining, and telecommunications sectors are scheduled to disclose their quarterly financial cards. Alongside these corporate announcements, upcoming domestic CPI data and US inflation figures will act as crucial catalysts guiding sentiment on Dalal Street.
Market Surge and Key Economic Drivers
The benchmark indices closed out the previous week on a triumphant note after a sharp rally on Friday. The Nifty surged by 2% in Friday's session to close at 25,030, wrapping up a massive weekly advance of 8.58%. Concurrently, the Sensex rallied 1,718 points or 2.17% in the final session to settle at 81,028, reflecting a total weekly jump of 8.82%. This impressive market momentum was predominantly driven by aggressive buying from foreign institutional investors, softening international crude oil prices, and robust corporate profitability seen across early September-quarter reports. Investors are now closely eyeing domestic consumer price index numbers and US macroeconomic indicators to gauge the future trajectory of interest rates and global market stability.
Early-Week Earnings Schedule for November 10 and 11

On Wednesday, November 11, focus will shift to Tata Power and Container Corporation of India (CONCOR). In addition to considering its Q2 performance, the board of Container Corporation of India is also scheduled to evaluate an interim dividend for its shareholders during the meeting.

Thursday, November 12 will be an event-filled day for state-owned enterprises. The board of directors at mining giant NMDC will convene on November 12 to review and approve the company's unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for the second quarter and the half-year ended September 30, 2026.
