The Bharatiya Janata Party made a significant organizational reshuffle on Thursday, assigning new responsibilities to 24 organizational secretaries and key functionaries across multiple states and units. According to the list released by national president Nitin Nabin, the restructuring outlines fresh roles for state in-charges, co-in-charges, and core organizational managers to strengthen the party's ground network ahead of upcoming elections.
Crucial Appointments for Key Northern and Eastern States
Under the revised arrangement, Pawan Rana has been given organizational responsibility for both Delhi and Haryana. In Uttar Pradesh, Dharampal has taken charge as the state organizational secretary. For Bihar, Bhikhubhai Dalsaniya has been appointed as the organizational secretary with Patna serving as his base of operations, while Pawan Sai has been entrusted with organizational duties in Jharkhand.
Multi-State Oversight and Regional Responsibilities
Senior party leader Shivprakash, acting as National Joint General Secretary (Organization), has been assigned supervisory roles across Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Goa. Meanwhile, Saudan Singh has taken charge of organizational work across the eastern corridor, covering Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, and West Bengal.
Focus on Maharashtra and Southern Regions
In Maharashtra, Ajay Jamwal has been designated as the State General Secretary (Organization) with Mumbai as his operational headquarters. Satish Dhond has been given charge of tribal outreach spanning Maharashtra and four other states. In the southern region, Madhukar has been allocated responsibility for Andhra Pradesh with Hyderabad as his base, and Darashay has been handed organizational duties for Telangana.
Hill States, Western Belts, and Specialized Wings
Ravindra Raju has been tasked with overseeing party work in Assam and Tripura alongside office construction projects. In the northern hill states, Siddharth will look after Himachal Pradesh with Shimla as his base, while Phanindranath Sharma has been assigned Uttarakhand. In western India, Ratnakar has been given charge of Gujarat along with Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, with Arun Binnada also receiving organizational tasks in Gujarat. Regarding specialized units, V. Satish will manage affairs concerning the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes morchas as well as the parliamentary office, while Rajendra has been tasked with handling organizational coordination and veteran party workers.
