The victims have been identified as 34-year-old Abhinandan and his four-year-old son, who lived at the premises along with Abhinandan's wife, Harini. Based on initial assessments, authorities believe the incident occurred between 10:00 PM on August 16 and 6:00 AM on August 17.
Mother Receives Morning Phone Call
According to the FIR registered at the Chikkabanavara police station, the sequence of events came to light when the victim's mother, Bhagyamma, received a phone call from a relative at approximately 6:30 AM on Monday. The caller informed her about the lifeless bodies of her son and grandson being discovered at the home. She subsequently rushed to the location, arriving at around 9:15 AM to witness the devastating scene.
Visible Injuries and Blood Found at the Scene
Upon entering the house, Bhagyamma found Abhinandan bearing multiple injuries on his face, hands, and legs, with blood oozing from his head. Lying right beside him was the body of the four-year-old child. The initial complaint raises strong suspicions that the young boy was suffocated to death, pointing towards a brutal assault on both victims.
Allegations Regarding Marital Discord and Extramarital Affair
