Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav has launched a sharp attack on the ruling BJP over the dilapidated state of Kanpur's famous Lal Imli mill. In a post on social media platform X, Yadav alleged that the hands of the clock tower were intentionally removed under the BJP regime to prevent people from noticing the defunct and stalled mill.

Highlighting the contrast between the mill's glorious past and its current state, Akhilesh Yadav stated that Lal Imli was once not just the pride of Kanpur, but of the entire country. However, the current situation of this heritage site paints a bleak picture.
Plight of the Mill Workers
The political leader raised serious concerns over the welfare of the workers. He remarked that instead of the bustling sound of machinery, only the painful cries of suffering laborers now echo from the silent premises. Concluding his post with a call for change, Yadav asserted that real transformation would only happen once the BJP is voted out.
