Recent Heavy Rainfall and Structural Hazards in Pratapgarh
The region of Pratapgarh has witnessed multiple structural and environmental hazards recently. Prior to this event, continuous heavy rainfall in the Patti tehsil area caused a farmer's mud house to cave in, injuring the farmer while his children escaped unhurt. Additionally, around 10 days ago in Pratapgarh, a 5-year-old girl named Mansi tragically drowned after accidentally falling into a 10-foot-deep water-filled pit while playing outside her residence. The latest tragedy in Mahuli village underscores the growing danger posed by aging housing structures during monsoon weather conditions.
