According to reports, he also said the government should listen seriously to the voice of Maharashtra's students, warning that until they get justice, the 'echo of students' will only keep growing louder instead of dying down. According to reports, at the heart of the protests is a paper leak controversy linked to the Maharashtra Public Service Commission, or MPSC, which has raised serious questions about the fairness and security of recruitment exams. Alongside this, government recruitment drives at both the state and central level have been stuck for months, in some cases years, testing the patience of lakhs of young job aspirants. The cost of education keeps rising, making it harder for children from ordinary and middle-class families to continue their studies. On top of that, the poor condition of student hostels has added to the list of grievances.
