The reality show "Lock Up: Sach Ya Sazaa" has climbed to the number one spot on Netflix India within just two days of its premiere, according to a statement from its makers. The show's blend of conflicts among contestants, strategic gameplay and emotional moments has driven its early buzz, with viewers actively discussing contestants and unfolding events on social media. The show is jointly hosted by Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh, and Farah has thanked audiences for the overwhelming early response.
Farah Khan reacts to the response
In her statement, Farah Khan said that hitting the number one spot in just two days felt incredible, adding that the love the show has received in such a short span is hard to believe. She said it has been amazing to watch how audiences in India and around the world have gotten hooked on the chaos, mind games, drama and twists unfolding inside the show. Talking about the twists ahead, Farah revealed that the show has now reached its first elimination. She said everyone is probably wondering who will be eliminated first, but as jailors, she and Riteish are wondering the same thing. According to Farah, being inside "Lock Up" every single day means they interact with the contestants and watch everything unfold up close, including fights, emotions, strategies and emotional breakdowns, as well as things contestants reveal without even realising it themselves.
A special episode is set for July 4
Farah added that the competition is only going to get tougher from here, calling it the start of a harder phase in the contestants' journey with several surprises still in store. In the upcoming episode, Kangana will review the contestants' performance from their first week before announcing the season's first elimination. That episode is scheduled to stream on July 4. "Lock Up: Sach Ya Sazaa" airs on Netflix every Saturday through Wednesday at 8 pm, and it continues to generate heavy conversation on social media.
