Following a public proposal from Union Minister Ramdas Athawale to join the Republican Party of India (A), Dipke took to social media to directly address the political offer.
The Invitation and Dipke's Reaction
Union Minister Ramdas Athawale, whose party RPI (A) is a constituent of the BJP-led NDA coalition, had extended an invitation to CJP chief Abhijeet Dipke to join his political outfit. Reacting to the proposal, Dipke shared a news report on Instagram and posted a pointed question, asking how he was suddenly being courted after being labeled anti-national just a month earlier.
Pressure Group Strategy and Recent Disputes
The Cockroach Janta Party, founded by Abhijeet Dipke, operates primarily as a public pressure group focusing on student and youth issues. Dipke had previously alleged facing threats and pressure to align with the ruling alliance.
