The impromptu demonstration was jointly organized by Congress-affiliated groups and the Doma Parisangh. Protesters raised slogans near the main gates of the organization's Delhi office and set fire to copies of the Manusmriti alongside a symbolic uniform, creating a tense atmosphere at the site.
Police Detain Protest Leaders
Security forces moved swiftly to contain the situation as crowds gathered outside the premises. Police took the leader of the All India Unorganized Workers and Employees Congress into custody along with other participants to restore order in the area.
