Political activities in Maharashtra have gathered fresh momentum as the Uddhav Thackeray-led faction of Shiv Sena initiates early organizational preparations for the upcoming political battles. Keeping the 2029 Lok Sabha elections in clear focus, the party has officially appointed Lok Sabha in-charges across forty out of the total forty-eight parliamentary constituencies in the state. Through these strategic appointments, the leadership has signaled its intent to gear up its electoral machinery well ahead of schedule and reinforce its grassroots presence across various constituencies.
Key Roles Assigned to Youth Leaders and Local Representatives
The newly released roster features several young leaders from Mumbai who have been entrusted with specific responsibilities across different parliamentary segments. In addition to the youth leadership, serving Mumbai MLAs, former corporators, and other prominent party office-bearers have been designated as contact heads and in-charges for multiple seats. This blend of experienced local faces and enthusiastic younger leaders aims to deepen the party's outreach and streamline ground-level coordination well before the electoral season commences.
Certain Key Regions Left Out in the First Phase
However, the currently announced roster does not cover every single area in the state. Six key Lok Sabha seats in Mumbai, alongside Thane and Jalgaon, have been kept out of this initial list for now. Decisions regarding these specific regions are expected to be finalized at a later stage. Meanwhile, clear organizational responsibilities have been locked in for the rest of the parliamentary seats spread across Maharashtra.
Detailed Breakdown of Constituency Allocations
According to the official list, distinct leaders have been assigned charge of specific zones. Kalyan and Bhiwandi have been placed under the responsibility of Varun Sardesai, while Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar will be managed by Ashish Chemburkar. Nashik and Dindori have been assigned to Ravindra Mirlekar. For Buldhana, Akola, and Amravati, Nitin Deshmukh has been given responsibilities alongside Narendra Khedekar, Nilesh Ghumal, and Dr. Kishor Thakare. Furthermore, Pradeep Borikar takes charge of Ratnagiri–Sindhudurg. Sanjay Manaji कदम has been appointed for Raigad excluding the Pen assembly segment, whereas Prasad Bhoir takes charge of Maval including the Pen assembly area.
Accelerating Electoral Preparations Ahead of Schedule
With these fresh structural deployments, Uddhav Thackeray's party has taken a definitive step toward activating its ground machinery at the parliamentary level. The primary objective remains tightening organizational grip and sharpening electoral strategies ahead of time. Political observers anticipate that remaining parliamentary constituencies will soon receive their designated overseers as the party expands its statewide footprint ahead of the next major electoral test.
