Festive preparations are in full swing across Rajasthan as the Rajasthan Cooperative Dairy Federation and district milk unions finalize arrangements to supply 275 tonnes of sweets during the Diwali season. A key highlight of this year is that every single sweet is being prepared entirely using pure Saras ghee, ensuring that consumers receive an exceptional combination of superior quality and rich taste.
Strict Quality Controls and Timely Distribution
RCDF Managing Director Shruti Bhardwaj has instructed all district milk unions to ensure uninterrupted availability, uncompromising quality standards, and timely delivery of sweets throughout the festive period. Additionally, under the One District One Product initiative, signature traditional delicacies from specific regions of the state have been integrated into the special sales lineup.
Traditional Regional Delicacies on Offer
The festive menu features renowned items such as the famous Mawa Kachori from Jodhpur and the globally acclaimed, grainy Alwar Kalakand. Alongside these regional specialties, traditional favorites from Jaipur including Gulab Jamun, Rasgulla, pedas, laddoos, and Kaju Katli are being prepared in large quantities to satisfy high consumer demand during the celebrations.
Jaipur Dairy Sets a 70-Tonne Sales Target
Recognizing the massive demand for festive treats in the capital city, Jaipur Dairy alone has established a target of selling approximately 70 tonnes of sweets this Diwali. To cater to local buyers, traditional laddoos, Boondi laddoos, and other popular confectionery items are being supplied in ample amounts through authorized Saras booths, special parlors, and selected online platforms.
Combating Adulteration with Affordable Purity
Festival seasons frequently witness a rise in adulterated sweets flooding the open market, posing serious risks to public health. By offering pure ghee sweets at economical rates compared to private commercial outlets, Saras aims to protect consumers from substandard products while enabling families across all economic backgrounds to celebrate the festival with safe and affordable traditional treats.
