Fatal Road Accidents Disturbed Traffic on Dausa Highways and Expressways
Dausa witnessed two major vehicular accidents on Saturday, causing casualties and disrupting travel on key routes. The first incident occurred on National Highway 21 (NH-21) near the Civil Lines area, where a speeding bus collided head-on with a motorcycle. The collision was so severe that both individuals riding the motorcycle died instantly at the scene. Upon receiving the alert, the Dausa Kotwali police arrived promptly to take custody of the deceased and transfer them to the hospital mortuary. The crash caused a temporary bottleneck on the busy highway, which was resolved after the police cleared the damaged vehicles from the road to restore the flow of traffic. In another incident on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway under the Rahuwas police station jurisdiction, a double-decker sleeper bus carrying 54 passengers lost control and overturned near pillar number 205. Five passengers sustained severe injuries and were rushed to the Dausa District Hospital. The injured travelers have been identified as Dushyant Tomar, Vishal Gupta, Virendra Punjabi, Dharamveer Singh, and Preeti Meena.
