This recruitment exam was conducted for a total of 4,543 Sub Inspector posts. Before this, the result of the Uttar Pradesh Home Guard exam 2026 had also been declared. This recruitment covers four types of posts, Sub Inspector Civil Police, Platoon Commander PAC or Sub Inspector Armed Police, Platoon Commander or Sub Inspector Special Security Force, and Woman Sub Inspector Civil Police (PC). The largest number of posts was reserved for Sub Inspector Civil Police.
