Indian athletes have put up a historic display at the ongoing Para Asian Games 2026 in Aichi Nagoya, Japan, successfully equalling the total of 28 gold medals they won at the Hangzhou Asian Para Games in 2022. Placed fourth in the overall medal tally, India's total medal count has reached 106, featuring 28 golds, 34 silvers, and 44 bronzes. Expectations are now running high that the contingent will surpass the total haul of 108 medals achieved in Hangzhou, with just 3 more medals needed to break that milestone.
