Members are granted the privilege of accessing the Wimbledon grounds at their own discretion for the remainder of their lives. Furthermore, they receive complimentary tickets, entry to an exclusive hospitality suite, and access to tickets for Centre Court and Court One.
Qualification and Exclusive Perks
Qualification extends beyond the singles draw. Players who have reached the semi-finals of either the men's or women's doubles, or who have participated in the final of the mixed doubles event, are also eligible to join the Last 8 Club. The organization hosts an annual supper party exclusively for its members. Because the majority of high-ranking players continue to compete in the tournament, many do not fully utilize these entitlements until after they have officially retired from their professional careers.
The club ensures a high standard of hospitality for its members, providing food and drinks within dedicated areas. A daily happy hour is held from 6pm to 7pm, where members can enjoy complimentary beverages and snacks. Additionally, the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club (AELTC) coordinates discounted hotel rates and provides dedicated transportation between those hotels and the tournament venue. Beyond tennis-related benefits, members are entitled to two tickets for a London show of their choosing and receive an invitation to a Seniors' LTC of Great Britain cocktail party. Crucially, each member is permitted to bring one guest with them to Wimbledon.
New Entrants and Future Membership
Players who secure their qualification through their performance in the 2026 tournament will begin their membership starting with the 2027 Wimbledon championships. Among the notable new entries will be Great Britain's Arthur Fery, whose performance in the men's singles last eight was one of the tournament's highlights. Similarly, former women's world number one and four-time Grand Slam winner Naomi Osaka of Japan will join the ranks next year, following her run to the quarter-finals this season. America's Coco Gauff is also set to join the group after reaching the semi-finals of the women's singles for the first time.
