Samik Bhattacharya stated that Gyanesh Kumar has successfully restored the voting rights of the people of West Bengal. He claimed that across every street and locality, people are discussing how the election commission conducted the voting process in the right manner. According to him, no one has been able to accomplish this in the past 70 years, and therefore, he believes the CEC deserves the prestigious Padma Bhushan award.
