In response to the growing demand for electric vehicles in the Indian two-wheeler sector, Avore Electric has officially launched its first electric motorcycle lineup, named the Avore EX. This new motorcycle range has been introduced in the Indian market across three distinct variants to cater to different customer requirements and price points. The entry-level base model, Avore EX1, has been launched at an ex-showroom price of Rs 1,24,999. The mid-spec EX2 variant is available at an ex-showroom price of Rs 1,45,999, while the top-of-the-line high-performance variant, the Avore EX2S, carries an ex-showroom price tag of Rs 1,69,999.
Aggressive Styling and Muscular Ergonomics
In terms of design aesthetics, the Avore EX features a highly aerodynamic, muscular, and aggressive sporty commuter stance. Designed to appeal to younger riders, the motorcycle incorporates sharp body panels, signature tank extensions, and a sleek tail section. The front profile is highlighted by muscular beacon signature tank lighting accompanied by projector LED headlights. To ensure high comfort during daily commuting, the motorcycle is engineered with an ergonomic seating position and fitted with stylish alloy wheels that enhance its overall premium appearance.
7-Inch Digital Display and Smart Technology
On the technology front, the Avore EX comes equipped with a large 7-inch smart digital cockpit display that supports Bluetooth connectivity and seamless smartphone integration. The flagship EX2S variant further elevates safety and tech integration by adding AI-driven capabilities, full-fledged navigation, geo-fencing, and crash alerts. The lineup offers four selectable riding modes, namely Eco, City, Sport, and Reverse. Additional rider assistance and safety equipment include hill hold assist, cruise control, and a TPMS (tyre pressure monitoring system).
PMSM Motor Performance and Acceleration
Powertrain capabilities across the Avore EX range are delivered by a frame-mounted PMSM (Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor). The base EX1 and mid EX2 variants share a motor setup generating 7.5 kW of peak power, enabling a top speed of 100 km/h. The top-spec EX2S variant is fitted with a more powerful 10.5 kW motor that develops 250 Nm of peak torque. This flagship performance setup allows the EX2S to accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in 2.8 seconds and reach a maximum top speed of 114 km/h.
Battery Capacity, Fast Charging, and Range
The energy architecture of the Avore EX lineup is structured to support both urban commutes and long-distance travel. The base EX1 variant houses a 3.24 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, whereas the higher EX2 and EX2S variants are powered by a larger 5 kWh IPU-X Shield battery pack. The company provides a 1500W on-board fast charger with the motorcycle, which can be plugged directly into standard 5A or 15A home electrical sockets. This fast charger charges the battery from 20 percent to 80 percent in 2 hours. In terms of certified range, the EX1 model delivers an IDC-certified range of 160 km per charge. The 5 kWh battery on the EX2 yields 255 km, while the top-end EX2S variant achieves an IDC-certified range of up to 260 km on a single full charge.
Pre-Booking Details, Delivery Timeline, and Battery Warranty
Pre-bookings for the Avore EX electric motorcycle series are currently open on the official company website, avore.in. Prospective buyers can reserve a unit by paying a token amount of Rs 799, which is completely refundable if a booking is cancelled. Deliveries across India are scheduled to commence starting September 2026. At present, Avore Electric is retailing the motorcycle inclusive of the battery pack, without an official BaaS (Battery as a Service) subscription program. To offer long-term security, the company includes a 5-year warranty on the IPU-X Shield battery pack, comprising a 3-year standard warranty and a 2-year extendable plan. If a BaaS model is introduced in the future, it may lower the initial purchasing cost even further.
