Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles has officially expanded its SUV coupe portfolio in the Indian market with the rollout of the all-new Tata Curvv Series X lineup. Positioned with an attractive entry price of Rs 9,99,990 (ex-showroom), the Series X range is engineered to bolster the overall value proposition of the Curvv nameplate. The newly introduced lineup blends futuristic SUV coupe styling, strong dynamic performance, refined cabin comfort, cutting-edge technology, and the structural safety framework of the Tata Safety Dome architecture.
Persona Options and Variant Pricing Details
To cater to diverse consumer demands, Tata Motors has structured the Curvv Series X lineup into multiple persona options: Smart X, Pure X, Pure X+, Creative X+, Accomplished X, and Accomplished X+. The lineup is offered with a choice of petrol and diesel powertrain options, available with both manual transmission and Dual-Clutch Transmission (DCT) gearboxes across various configurations.
The range commences with the entry-level Smart X persona priced at Rs 9,99,990. Moving up the hierarchy, the Pure X persona starts at Rs 10,99,990, while the Pure X+ variant is priced from Rs 11,79,990 (Rs 11.79 lakh), with its dedicated Pure X+ #DARK edition available at Rs 11,99,990. The mid-tier Creative X+ persona starts at Rs 12,90,990 (Rs 12.90 lakh), while its Creative X+ #DARK variant carries a price tag of Rs 13,15,990. For buyers seeking top-tier features, the Accomplished X persona starts at Rs 13,99,990, with the Accomplished X #DARK edition set at Rs 14,24,990. The flagship variant, Accomplished X+ Hyperion 1.2 GDI DCT, is priced at Rs 18,49,990, while the range-topping Accomplished X+ Hyperion 1.2 GDI DCT #DARK edition is offered at Rs 18,74,990.
Smart X and Pure X: Baseline Comfort and Standard Safety
The base Smart X persona introduces India's first R-Comfort Seats equipped with passive ventilation. Standard exterior and convenience elements include R17 Aero Style Wheels, EasySip Cup Docks integrated into the rear armrest, flush-fitting door handles, and Multi Drive Modes. On the safety front, Tata Motors provides a robust standard package across all variants, including 6 airbags, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), and Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD). The premium Accomplished X and Accomplished X+ personas bring advanced active driver safety to the segment through a Level-2 (L2) ADAS suite. The Accomplished X+ variant adds a gesture-operated powered tailgate for hands-free boot access. The exterior lighting upgrades to sequential light saber LED DRLs and tail lamps featuring welcome and goodbye lighting animations. Inside, passengers are treated to ambient mood lighting, ventilated front seats, and a 6-way power-adjustable driver seat.
Infotainment in the top-end models is handled by a larger 12.3-inch Ultra View HARMAN touchscreen paired with a 9-speaker JBL immersive sound system. Further high-end additions include a wireless smartphone charger, dual-zone climate control, a Breathe IQ air purifier, iRA connected car technology, integrated Alexa voice commands, an electronic parking brake with auto-hold functionality, and an auto-dimming interior rear-view mirror.
