The Central Reserve Police Force has marked an unprecedented operational milestone by completing 12 consecutive months without a single operational casualty. The record confirms that not one personnel lost their life during any active tactical mission or hostile engagement across the entire past year. This achievement represents the force's most secure operational stretch in 47 years of institutional history.
A 47 Year Operational Benchmark Renewed
The last time such an extended period without active combat casualties was recorded occurred back in January 1979. The force suffered its last operational casualty on 30 October 2025, after which personnel maintained a clean safety record across all tactical deployment zones throughout the following year. CRPF Director General GP Singh announced the operational accomplishment publicly on the social media platform X.
Upgraded Equipment, Training, and Evacuation Protocols
DG GP Singh explained that the historic outcome stems directly from the integration of modern weaponry, cutting edge tactical gadgets, and advanced operational training provided to field units. Alongside tactical planning carefully calibrated at the ground level, rapid medical evacuation mechanisms played a decisive role in protecting lives. An upgraded protocol ensuring wounded personnel reach major hospitals without delay following armed encounters proved to be a critical factor in preserving lives.
Unbroken Vigilance on Sensitive Operational Fronts
The clean operational record comes while personnel remain actively committed to heavily contested assignments, including high threat counter-terror missions and anti-Naxal deployments. Emphasizing the operational posture of the force, DG GP Singh stated that personnel remain firmly deployed across all key sensitive sectors and stay steadfast in their duty to maintain national security.
