Kumar Vishal, a local resident, had harboured high hopes for his elder son, Siddhant Vishal. Like thousands of other ambitious students across the country, Siddhant was dispatched to the renowned coaching hub of Kota in Rajasthan during the year 2023. His singular focus was to crack the highly competitive medical entrance test. For two grueling years, spanning from 2023 to 2025, Siddhant dedicated himself to the rigorous preparation schedule that Kota is famous for. However, the academic journey did not yield the desired results. When the year 2025 brought yet another setback in his quest to clear the examination, the immense psychological burden began to take a severe toll on his mental well-being.
A Mysterious Disappearance
Overwhelmed by the continuous academic disappointments, Siddhant experienced a profound shift in his perspective on life. The pressure of expectations and the reality of his results culminated in a drastic decision. On the early morning of June 14, 2025, precisely at 4 AM, the young student quietly slipped out of his family home. He left without leaving any message or giving any prior indication of his intentions. When the household awoke to find him missing, panic naturally ensued. His worried family members immediately launched a frantic search, combing through every possible location and reaching out to all known contacts, but their efforts yielded absolutely no clues regarding his whereabouts. Left with no other options, the distressed family approached the Town Police Station and officially registered a kidnapping and missing person report, initiating a formal law enforcement search.
The Search Operation
As months passed without any definitive news, the emotional strain on the family intensified. This prolonged uncertainty prompted Siddhant's younger brother, Sarthak Vishal, to take matters into his own hands. In December 2025, driven by a deep familial bond and the desperation to locate his sibling, Sarthak also left the family home. The parents initially assumed he had merely gone out to gather information, but soon realized that their second son had also disappeared. Unbeknownst to the family at the time, Sarthak's search had led him directly to Vrindavan. In a bizarre twist of fate, both brothers ended up residing in the exact same holy city for an extended period. However, they stayed in completely different locations and, remarkably, never once crossed paths during their time there. Sarthak eventually concluded his independent search and returned to his home in Bhojpur, but the mystery of his elder brother's location remained unsolved.
Discovery and Transformation
Despite the passage of time, the local law enforcement agencies maintained their active investigation into the registered kidnapping case. Their persistent tracking efforts finally paid off approximately five days ago when they received concrete intelligence regarding Siddhant's location. The information pinpointed his presence at the Susukhral Upvan, a specific location within the holy city of Vrindavan in Uttar Pradesh. Acting swiftly on this crucial lead, a dedicated police team was dispatched from Bihar. The recovery operation was spearheaded by Sub-Inspector Parineeta Kumari, who was accompanied by Assistant Sub-Inspector Vidu Bhushan. With the active cooperation and logistical support of the local Vrindavan police force, the Bihar team successfully located the missing young man. The person the police found in Susukhral Upvan was vastly different from the stressed medical student who had vanished from Bhojpur. Siddhant had undergone a complete physical and spiritual transformation. He had shaved his head completely and discarded his regular clothing in favor of traditional saffron robes. In his new life, he had even forsaken his original identity and is now known among the locals and fellow devotees simply as 'Shyam Baba'.

During the initial police questioning following his discovery, Siddhant was completely transparent about his journey. He explained that the repeated academic failures in the high-pressure environment of Kota had completely alienated him from the pursuit of secular education. This deep disillusionment convinced him that the only true and meaningful path in life was through complete renunciation of the material world. Having embraced this new philosophy, Siddhant made his way to Vrindavan, the epicenter of Krishna devotion. There, he formally initiated his ascetic journey under the spiritual guidance of the highly revered saint, Premanand Ji Maharaj. He firmly stated to the investigating officers that he has absolutely no desire whatsoever to return to his family or resume the life of a normal householder. His grandfather, Vipin Prasad Singh, offered a deeply philosophical reflection on the entire ordeal. While acknowledging the natural sorrow of seeing his grandson leave the family fold to become a monk, the patriarch emphasized that his ultimate priority is the young man's genuine happiness. Sub-Inspector Parineeta Kumari clarified the sequence of events, noting that while the family had initially filed a formal kidnapping First Information Report, the thorough police investigation definitively proved otherwise. The facts clearly established that the student had traveled to Vrindavan entirely of his own free will to pursue a life of renunciation. After bringing him back from Uttar Pradesh, the police facilitated the recording of his official statement before a magistrate. In the court setting, Siddhant reiterated his unwavering stance, declaring once again that he completely rejects the domestic life and intends to return immediately to his ashram in Vrindavan.
