Sara Ashraf began her professional journey in the Muzaffarpur district, where she served as an Assistant Collector, gaining a deep understanding of the intricacies of district administration. During her tenure there, she also handled independent charges as BDO and CO for the Bochahan block. Following her stint in Muzaffarpur, she was posted to Gaya district, where she served as the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDO/SDM) for the Sherghati sub-division. Since April 20, 2025, she had been serving as the DDC-cum-CEO of Supaul district, where she worked actively to accelerate various development projects.
