Bihar's Madhubani district witnessed a devastating road mishap where one youth lost his life and two others sustained critical injuries while they were riding a motorcycle to visit a local fair. The tragic incident took place near Kanhauli village under the jurisdiction of the Khajouli police station area. According to initial reports, the speeding bike lost control and met with an accident near a sharp road turn, creating an atmosphere of panic and chaos in the immediate vicinity.
Bike plunges into a pond after losing control
Based on the available information, the three youths were travelling together on a single motorcycle to enjoy a fair. While navigating the route, their bike went out of control near a road diversion and crashed. Upon receiving news of the mishap, nearby residents rushed to the spot and immediately engaged in rescue and relief operations. Local people safely pulled the two injured youths out and rushed them to a hospital, where their medical condition is currently reported to be critical and concerning. Meanwhile, the third youth who had plunged into the pond was retrieved in the morning, but by then, he had already succumbed to his injuries.
Police take custody of the body and initiate a probe
The deceased youth has been identified as Kailash Sada, a resident of Chhaurhi Baruar village. Following the receipt of information regarding the incident, the local police arrived at the scene, took the body into their possession, and transferred it to the Sadar Hospital in Madhubani for a post-mortem examination. Law enforcement authorities are actively investigating all aspects of the matter. Concurrently, an atmosphere of deep mourning has descended upon the victim's family, with relatives inconsolable over the sudden tragedy.

Preliminary accounts suggest that this fatal accident occurred due to incomplete road construction work and a total lack of barricades or warning signs at the diversion. Locals have pointed out that due to insufficient safety arrangements at the site, similar accidents have occurred in the past as well.
