Celebrated cinema couple Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth have moved into their new dream home following their wedding. The duo recently opened the doors of their stunning Chennai apartment for fans to see. This marks their first shared home together after marriage, as well as the very first self-owned property for both actors. Architectural Digest India published several captivating photographs of this luxurious residence, prompting fans across social media to shower the couple with love. Many observers noted that the artistic sensibilities of both actors are clearly visible in every single corner of the house.
An Eighteenth-Floor Residence with Breathtaking Sea Views
Spanning an impressive 4000 square feet, this grand apartment was originally conceptualized by architect Shruti C Reddy. Later, interior designer Pavitra Rajaram gave it a personalized touch that reflects the unique tastes of Aditi and Siddharth. Situated on the 18th floor of the building, the home features expansive windows and wrap-around balconies that offer stunning views of the Chennai city skyline and the vast ocean. The layout has been designed in a way that makes the entire apartment feel interconnected and spacious. Actor Siddharth has highlighted this open layout as his most favorite part of the home.
A Vibrant and Artistic Living Room
The living room stays flooded with natural sunlight throughout the day, thanks to large French windows dressed in elegant linen curtains. Instead of opting for a conventional minimalist look, the couple chose a striking mix of colors and patterns. To elevate the aesthetics of the living room, the space features a glass chandelier by Taherally, a custom glass coffee table, wicker armchairs, and a pink glass sculpture. Additionally, silk Jamदानी cushions and a hand-knotted rug impart a royal yet comforting feel to the entire area.
An Entryway Adorned with Antiques and Artworks
The foyer and hallway of the residence resemble a refined art gallery. This area is decorated with a vintage Turkish runner, a teak wood study desk, a Burmese lacquer box, a brass diya, and Japanese woodblock prints. A glass cabinet crafted from mother-of-pearl and ebony further enhances the entryway, housing various rare artifacts collected by the couple over time.
A Regal Master Bedroom, Den, and TV Room
The primary bedroom of Aditi and Siddharth showcases a wonderful balance between modern and vintage furniture. A major highlight of the bedroom is their custom four-poster bed, paired with an ivory carpet, floral wallpaper, and dark teakwood side tables. Meanwhile, their den functions as a repository of memories, featuring bookshelves lined with vintage vinyl records, Filmfare awards, and a handmade film projector gifted to Siddharth by his mentor Kamal Haasan. Furthermore, the TV room has been styled with Sabyasachi velvet upholstery, bright yellow wallpaper, an art deco brass-and-glass floor lamp, and a vintage rug for a bold and classy look.
