Director Priyadarshan shared the news on social media by posting an image of a clapboard from the set, which featured the word 'Pooja'. During that time, the director also shared photographs with his lead stars, Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan. This project holds special significance for fans of the two stars, as it marks their first on-screen reunion since the 2008 film 'Tashan'.
