The Kapoor family is in full celebration mode as Anshula Kapoor prepares to tie the knot with her fiancé Rohan Thakkar. The pre-wedding festivities are now well underway, and brother Arjun Kapoor is making no secret of his excitement, taking to Instagram to share photos, videos, and a touching personal message for his sister.
Mata Ki Chowki Marks the Start of Wedding Rituals
The first formal ceremony leading up to Anshula and Rohan's wedding was a Mata Ki Chowki, organised by Rohan's family. Mahip Kapoor was among the first to document the occasion on social media, sharing photos and videos with the caption: 'Shaadi ki shuruat… Jai Mata Di.' Cousin Shanaya Kapoor and Mahip Kapoor had earlier given fans the very first glimpse of the festivities.
Anshula on the Significance of the Fulkari Dupatta
Anshula herself shared photographs from the Mata Ki Chowki and opened up about what the ceremony meant to her on a personal level. She revealed that wearing a fulkari dupatta at the occasion was especially meaningful because it represents Punjabi tradition, culture, and the blessings of elders. She wrote that she could not have imagined a more fitting way to begin her new life with Rohan.
Arjun's Emotional Note for His Sister
Arjun Kapoor posted engagement photographs and videos of Anshula and Rohan on Instagram, accompanied by a warm, heartfelt message for his sister. He wrote: 'Ansh, abhi toh jashn ki shuruat hui hai' (Ansh, the celebrations have only just begun). He added that just one evening had passed and he could already sense how quickly these beautiful moments would fly by. Expressing his joy for the couple, he admitted that the wait for the wedding day itself had become too hard to bear.
The Kapoor Family Comes Together
The Mata Ki Chowki brought together several members of the Kapoor family under one roof, including Arjun Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, Mahip Kapoor, and Sanjay Kapoor. With the wedding festivities now in full swing, both family members and fans are eagerly looking forward to the remaining celebrations.
