Geetu Mohandas shared a photograph with Huma Qureshi and wrote out her thoughts on Baby Do Die Do. In her post she made it clear that this was not a review, she simply wanted to describe how it felt to watch people she knows make a film like this. Geetu wrote that she had just watched Baby Do Die Do, and for her it was not like watching a stranger succeed. She described it as the story of a sister and brother who trusted each other completely, along with a partner who delivered exactly what she always knew he was capable of. She added that their success did not surprise her at all, because she was already aware of their ability and always knew they would achieve something like this. She closed that post by addressing Huma Qureshi as Elizabeth, her character's name in Toxic, writing, well done, my Elizabeth.

She wrote that this is not just Huma's film, it was the joint risk of a family who trusted each other completely, and that this family had now opened themselves up in front of ordinary audiences who bought tickets to watch the film. Geetu Mohandas named Sakib and Rachit and praised them generously, saying they had done something remarkable. She mentioned she had seen the two work together before and wanted to say clearly that talent like theirs is not easy to find. She called this only the beginning of a brilliant future for the team and congratulated the entire crew of the film for this massive success. Toxic director Geetu Mohandas had already shared Huma Qureshi's first look from the film back in December. At the time she had written, presenting Huma Qureshi as Elizabeth in Toxic, Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown Ups. In that first look, Huma Qureshi was seen standing in a graveyard in a black gown in front of a black car. The film was originally supposed to release in March 2026 alongside the Ranveer Singh starrer Dhurandhar 2, but the makers later changed the release date, and the film is now releasing in theatres on August 26.
