Clarifying the rationale behind the November 6 international date, Malhotra pointed out that overseas markets strictly follow a Friday release window for theatrical premieres. Since November 6 is a Friday, overseas theaters will showcase the film from that day, whereas the Indian theatrical release is scheduled specifically to coincide with the auspicious occasion of Diwali on Sunday, November 8.
