On Saturday, the film witnessed a remarkable growth of 31.1 percent in its daily collections. According to trade data, the movie raked in 20 crore rupees on its second day. This performance surpassed the opening day figure of 15.25 crore rupees. When combined with the 3.75 crore rupees earned through paid previews, the total net collection of Welcome to the Jungle in India has reached 39 crore rupees, with the gross collection standing at 46.80 crore rupees.
Rising Among Top Openers of the Year
With these numbers, Welcome to the Jungle has established itself as the third-biggest opening film in Bollywood for this year. The list is currently led by Dhurandhar: The Revenge, which earned 238.60 crore rupees, followed by Border 2 with 43.50 crore rupees.
Plot and Cinematic Twist
The story follows a cunning politician who attempts to hide his 2000 crore rupees of undeclared wealth from tax authorities by orchestrating a fake film production. He forces struggling actors and amateur directors into this fabricated project. The situation spirals into chaos when the politician's money goes missing. The eccentric team is then tasked with making the film a superhit within just 24 hours, all while contending with dangerous terrorists.

Directed by Ahmed Khan, this is the third installment in the famous Welcome franchise.
